Dear Possible Donors,

As you may know, the 2009 Forest Service Reunion will be held in Missoula, Montana the week of September 7th at the Hilton Garden Inn.  For those of you who did not know – please consider this an early announcement and encouragement to add this to your 2009 calendar.

In addition to our encouragement to attend, we have been tasked with organizing the Reunion Silent Auction and we need your help.  First, let us say the auction, traditionally part of the reunion festivities, is held to defray the cost of hosting the event.  Additionally, it is an enjoyable venue for sharing artwork, experiential opportunities and other creations and treasures with friends and colleagues.

About the “help” needed:  In order to have a successful auction – we need donations of art, crafts, experiences such as guided fishing trips, cabin or lodging stays, skiing trips, airline flights, dining, outdoor wear or equipment, special books and/or publications, quilts, jewelry, gift baskets, etc.  These items should be the type of things that each of us would love to own and/or displays the incredible talent and creativity so many of you possess.

If you would like to contribute to the Silent Auction and help make the 2009 Forest Service Reunion a success, we would love to have your help. Please let usknow right away of your intentions, so we can plan accordingly. Send reponses to fsreunion09@gmail.com. The deadline for items to be included in the auction willl be July 2009 to facilitate the organization of space and display needs.

Hope to hear from you!
